Synopsis:

Every director tries to focus on the new facets of love in their movies. Rajendrakumar has tried his hand at a triangular love story with a difference and has also succeeded in it. Thendral Uma who is known for excelling in a range of characters has done a commendable job. Narendra, a student from Mumbai Film Institute is making his debut as hero. This movie’s screenplay spans the events which happen in a single day!

Share auto driver Sasi (Narendra), the hero of this movie, dreams about a girl one night and falls in love with her. To his surprise he runs into the same girl (Uma) the next morning as she hails his auto-rickshaw. Manju (Uma) visits the city from Uduppi to attend an interview. Sasi falls in love with her at very first sight.

Meanwhile Manju meets businessman Krishna (Vishwa) in the interview who also happens to be her childhood friend. Romance sparks off between the two instantly. Sasi who comes to know about this, does not reveal his love for Manju.

That same day, Krishna’s father Nizhalgal Ravi makes a surprise statement in his birthday party announcing he had fixed Krishna’s marriage with another girl. Uma is broken! Krishna decides to sacrifice his love and dutifully accept his father’s decision. Will Uma accepts Sasi’s love in this situation, watch the rest of the movie.

The director could have concentrated more on the narration of the story. Narendra has performed well in fight sequences and needs to improve his expressions. Vishwa comes as a modern romantic lover in the second half of the movie. Senthil and Dhamu have provided the comedy scenes as well.

Flashback scenes in Uduppi showcase the skills of cinematographer N.K. Vishwanathan. S.A.Rajkumar’s music in this film makes us tap our feet along the song sequences.
