Plot:
Kabali (Satyaraj), is a fisherman by profession and a rowdy by choice, but he has a heart of gold. He fights against injustice and has gone to jail several times in this regard. A chorus singer Suganthi (Bhanupriya), stays nearby and uses his name to safeguard herself. Kabali meets her and falls in love with her. Meanwhile, a lady lawyer takes a liking to Suganthi and tries to get her married to her son Sundar (Sarathkumar). Little does she know that Sundar is not the obedient son as he pretends to be. His hobby is to abduct any girl who catches his fancy and rape her. Where does life take them, whom does Suganthi marry and who turns over a new leaf is seen in the latter part of the movie.
