One of earliest MGR’s hits movie co-starring with Anjali Devi. It is MGR’s 40th picture. An ancient song and dance extravaganza with MGR and Anjali Devi in a tale of yore, of princes and princesses and of competing suitors in a game of dance. Kalaivaanar N S Krishnan delivers delightful comedy mixed with gems of wisdom. Contains the famous “Ulagathile Bayangramana Aayutham Ethu” song. Another song “Aada vange annathe” is a kuthu song, probably the earliest in Tamil film industry. MGR acted and danced very well in this movie.
