Plot:

The film begins at a journey in train where Paari (Jeeva) looks back at everything. Cut! the story goes to one remote village in Ramanathapuram. Paari is a do-gooder who helps everyone in need. A magnanimous man, he gives anything and everything to others if they ask for, apt to his name.

Promising his dad (Azhagan Perumal) to earn more, Paari sets out to Chennai to earn money. But he is thrown to more challenges in city. He meets a young girl Madhi (Poonam Bajwa) and falls in love with her. But also comes some trouble for Paari in the form of some goons, who flexes muscles with him. Sivamani (J D Chakravarthy), the dreaded but sophisticated don of the city gets ready to marry Madhu. It is now up to Paari and Sivamani to sort it out.

Plot:
Prabhakar (Jeeva) is a Tamil teacher in a private school. Unable to bear the ill-treatment meted out to Tamil. Frustrated at the society he even tries to commit suicide.Imbalance in salary structure (call centre and IT employees earning several times more that of Tamil teachers) haunts Prabhakar. He slowly turns a rebel with, none to share his emotions; he gradually becomes violent and turns a psychopath.A cute flashback reveals his past, his upbringing by a Tamil teacher (director Azhagam Perumal, and his childhood sweet heart Anandhi (Anjali) who later in his life becomes an obsession for him. Plot:
Eswaran (Jeeva) alias E an orphan is a slum dweller in Chennai. He is supported by an old lady. E along with his friend Tony (Karunas) carries out small crimes to earn money. E brought up in tough conditions, grows up as a tough, fearless and emotionless guy.Jyoti (Nayanthara), a bar dancer from Mumbai comes to Chennai and stays in a house opposite to E's. As days go by, Jyoti learns about E's past. She gets attracted towards E.Meanwhile; Dr.Ramakrishnan (Ashish Vidyarthi) a quack comes to the slum and projects himself as a do-gooder to people living there. Not knowing his ulterior motives, the slum dwellers keep unshakable faith on him. However, his hidden agenda is to make use of them as guinea pigs to test his new but potentially lethal medicines, which international pharmaceutical companies supply to him for a hefty sum.One day, Jyoti's sister and E's grand mother go to Dr.Ramakrishnan for treatment. Both fall prey to his insidious action. In the meantime, E saves Dr.Ramakrishnan from Nellai Mani (Pasupathy), a terrorist, who is after the Doctor to kill him.Realizing E's boldness the Doctor enters into a pact with E to capture Mani in return for a huge sum. E captures Mani and when he takes him to handover him to the doctor. Mani tells about Ramakrishna's evil designs. The rest of the film is about how E foils the doctor's malicious actions and brings him to books.
