Plot:
Two youths - Shekar (Murali) and Muthuraman (Parthiban) - like many others, get cheated by a fraudulent placement agent who promises them a job with a good salary in Dubai. They lose all their money and are left on the streets. Both do not want to go back home, as they cannot see the dreams of their near and dear ones broken. The story of 'Vetrikkodi Kattu' is about how both these youths from different backgrounds but with a common thread of poverty binding them, turn the challenges thrown at them into opportunities and succeed in life.
