Plot:
Jeeva's (Sathyaraj's) father works as a driver in a rich business man's house. Jeeva's parents, their employer and his wife die in an accident. But before their death, the employer makes Jeeva and their own children promise that they will live as siblings and will be there for each other through thick and thin. Everything goes according to the promise till their youngest sister Indu's (Preetha's) wedding. She is widowed on the day of her marriage. Moreover, her in-laws feel that she should stay with them throughout her life. Although Indu sadly accepts her fate, happiness enters her life in the form of Muthu (Aadiraj). Only Jeeva is elated at this development and tries to unite Indu and Muthu against all odds. But he becomes helpless when Indu's brothers themselves oppose Indu's re-marriage. Does Jeeva accomplish his mission? or does he give in to the pressure and insults by the brothers?
