An educated rickshaw puller (M G Ramachandran) attempts to bring order, discipline and respect to other rickshaw pullers and their occupation. He untiringly works to expose the unlawful activities of the villains (Major Sundararajan and S A Ashokan). He has soft corner for a local food vendor (Padmini) and falls in love with a college girl (Manjula).
