Plot:
The story starts with shrouded mystery around the lead character, Ganesan. Goons fill the screen with terror, searching for Ganesan in and around all areas of Madurai. The man in pursuit silently registers himself into the fourth year of a Medical College in Chennai and spends his time only on studies as an introvert. The kind advice and reassuring visits of Police officers to the college campus, to meet Ganesan and the special care the Dean of the college takes on his well being added to the mystery factor.
Even though Ganesan tries to avoid any tiffs and subsequent identity revelation; he is forced to rescue his Professor's daughter, Shrimathi. Turn of events, brings him head on to meet the people who are on the lookout for him. The ferocious outburst of the hero at this juncture and Shrimathi's passionate hug for the hero reveals the past.
Ganesan had been a Medical College student in Madurai, living happily with his parents. He steps in to save Shrimathi who has come to Madurai to visit her relatives from being humiliated by the Female gangster, Eswari. Emotionally upset at having been touched by a real man physically for the first time, Eswari, is deeply attracted towards the power and awe of Ganesan and wants to marry him. She fixes a marriage date the following week. Ganesan is unperturbed and ignores her. On the marriage day, Eswari takes Ganesan's parents and threatens to kill them unless he marries her. Ganesan comes and saves his parents. In her fury, Eswari tries to kill Ganesan, but ends up getting electrocuted by accident.
Eswari in her deathbed provoke her dreaded gangster brothers to kill Ganesan and also whichever girl he tries to marry. The brothers injure Ganesan's father and look for him everywhere. Ganesan's uncle, a police officer, arranges for treatment of Ganesan's father secretly and also arranges for Ganesan to pursue to his studies in Chennai quietly.
When the brothers find that Ganesan is in love with Shrimathi, they try to kill her. In the ensuing clash, one of the brothers is killed again by accident, inspite of the efforts of Ganesan to save him. How Ganesan overcomes the outrage of the gangsters saves his parents and also unites happily with Shrimathi, forms the final absorbing moments.
