Plot:
Ganesh(Parthiban) is not yet married, something for which he blames his father who married outside his caste. His mother does her best by trying to arrange his marriage but he remains single. He is promoted by his boss and sent off to manage a bank in a village. On the way his bus meets with an accident and Ganesh is injured. Three months later he finally makes it to his job. There he finds a young woman Nandhini(Devayani) who appears to try and be around him whenever possible, eventually his friend convinces him that she obviously is smitten with him and, as he sees her as perfect wife material, he too is under the impression that she is in love with him. He summons his parents to meet Nandhini's parents for marriage, though when Nandhini finds out the purpose of the visit she suprises Ganesh and his family by saying that she not only does not want the marriage but, is not even in love with him. Ganesh questions Nandhini and in a flashback, we learn of the reason for her interest in him.
