Puthiya Paravai was one of the finest masterpieces ever produced by Sivaji. The performances were first-rate; both sivaji and saroja devi excel in well etched roles. Saroja devi particularly excelled in the climax sequence - the twist was like totally unpredictable. Overall, it was a great musical suspense thriller. The film had a fabulous soundtrack, the songs were absolute gems.
