Synopsis: This is a mythological & social comedy which is a success formula from times immemorial. Vadivelu, the no.1. comedian dons 3 roles to make the young & the old alike roll with laughter by his hilarious dialogues & actions. more...
He dons the roles of Indhira, Yama & Naa. Azhagappan.

Naa. Azhagappan, is a drama artiste in a suburb performing stage plays in temples, open grounds and other arenas. He has many fans and one such fan by chance happens to be Ramba from the Indiralog. She is turned a statue by the angry Lord Indira (2nd role of Vadivelu) as she is seen witnessing and admiring the stage performer. Not realizing this, the actor playfully garlands the statue to consider this as his first marriage remembering the prediction of an astrologer that he will never be able to get married because his horoscope predicts the death of his first wife and that is the reason why no man has come forward to give his daughter in marriage to him. To ward off this curse the astrologer had suggestsed that Naa. Azhagappan ties the sacred knot around the Banana Tree (an old faith) and bring down the tree to signify the death of the first wife. As he ties the sacred thread to the statue not realizing it is Ramba, the story takes a turn.

Ramba accepts him whole-heartedly as her husband and decides to take him to Indiralog. She takes him to Indralog during nights and sends him back to Bhoolog during day to lead his normal life. Azhagappan is amazed to see Indralog and he also happens to visit the Yamalog one day. He sees Yama (3rd role of Vadievelu) talking to his subordinates and justifying his role of bringing people causing death. The interaction between Yama and Azhagappan is a hilarious sequence of verbal duel in literary Tamil & local colloquial Tamil.

Azhagappan narrates & describes his experiences in Indralog & Yamalog to people during the day and they think he has turned insane. His absence in the nights & presence in the mornings also add to the confusion and people living around are totally puzzled. This segment forms a sequence of interesting scenes.

How this comedy of errors comes to a pleasant finale forms the rest of the story.
