Plot:
Sundaram (Jai Shankar) is forced to make two important decisions of life in compulsion. One is his choice of job, where he joins the Police force to fulfill his father's last wish and secondly his marriage. Sundaram is forced to marry Sarasu instead of his childhood love Lakshmi (Lakshmi). Sundaram is committed to both his profession as well as his wife and emerges as a courageous and a straight forward officer. However he is unaware that his sister Nila's husband Ramu (Shiva Kumar) is being blackmailed by a gang of goons. He is being asked to dance to their tunes at gun point. Things get worse when the gang involves Sundaram's wife Sarasu and his ex-lover Lakshmi in their ploy, with an aim to escape from the hands of law. Sundaram feels helpless and defeated, but Lakshmi is determined to save Sarasu's life as well as Sundaram's honor, even at the cost of her own life.
